Did Al build his Toy Barn across the street from his apartment, or did he move into the apartment because it was across the street from his Toy Barn?

Which came first, the Chicken Store or the Egg-partment?

PIXAR has done the impossible, and significantly improved on their original groundbreaking film Toy Story. Not only is the movie hysterically funny, but every time I thought I knew where the plot was headed something completely new and original was thrown into the mix. One minute I'm laughing hysterically at "Tour Guide" Barbie, the next I'm nearly brought to tears watching a sequence where Emily grows up and leaves Jessie behind.

What more can be said? If you think you're too old to enjoy something like this then I feel sorry for you, because this film has more to say about friendship, loss, loyalty and the value of life itself than any of the so-called "grown up" movies I've seen this year.

I rarely do this, but I'm rating this one a "10".

After watching the original, it only makes sense to dive into the sequel! While it is likely the "worst" of the four Toy Story films, there is still so much heart, charm, and lovable characters. Will surely watch this one plenty more times.

Rating: 4/5 - 8.5/10 - Would Recommend

"Toy Story 2" is a great film that manages to not only live up to its predecessor but surpass it, too. While the first Toy Story film was solid, it suffered from pacing issues and notable plot holes. Fortunately, this sequel does not suffer from these same issues, at least to the same degree. Each new character is unique and intriguing, especially Stinky Pete, though I wish they had given him a little more screentime. I also felt his showdown with Woody was highly underwhelming, with it lasting less than a minute and him being forgotten about afterwards. However, this film is still highly entertaining with plenty of depth, both structurally and emotionally.

Overall, Pixar's first classic, in my opinion.

One of the greatest sequels around. 'Toy Story 2', whilst marginally inferior, still manages to create the same magic that the original has - which is mightily impressive.

It, at least to me, has less humour but what it loses there it makes up for in the premise, which is arguably more interesting when compared to the 1995 film. I very much enjoy it, especially the location of the finale.

Tom Hanks is again fabulous as Woody, while Tim Allen (Buzz) & Co. remain as entertaining as before. They also introduce some cool new characters, with the standout being Jessie who is voiced astutely by Joan Cusack; Jessie's backstory is so well done. Al (Wayne Knight) and Pete (Kelsey Grammer) are good additions, too.

There are some tremendous scenes here, that one for Cusack's character and the conclusion are my favourites alongside the ultra satisfying restoration scene; the end credits are amusing, also. It's all fun.

The other two sequels are brilliant, but this is the pick of the three. I'd highly recommend, evidently.

Pixar strikes again with another brilliant installation of the Toy Story series. Woody, Buzz, Rex, Slinky and the gang return once more for another excursion into the world of toys. Toy Story 2 is one of those rare films that surpasses the original. Not only has the quality of the CG animation improved, but the story has more heart to it. Even the comedy seems a bit sharper and is a bit funnier now that we know the characters. Toy Story 2 is a shining example of a sequel done right.

Better animation, a great story, and some fun new characters. It's just edged out by the first, but this is how a sequel is done.

A wonderful sequel. It takes everything the first did and expands the world. It looks a lot better too.

This is the best Pixar movie. It has literally everything that makes a movie a 10. Good soundtrack, memorable characters, and it's actually funny. Go watch this

IMO this one was much better than the first one!
And I finally met some of the Debian releases that I've used/know: Buster, Wheezy, Bullseye (soon), and Jessie :D
The end credits where brilliant! I don't think I've ever seen an artificial bloopers real in a CGI movie. That's such a fun idea!
