8.8/10. A wonderful film that features exciting and imaginative action sequence, that explores the idea of what happens to a toy when its owner outgrows it in a sensitive, meaningful way, and a examines the acceptance of change and how the things that helped us can help someone else just as much. There's Pixar films I like more (some of the second act where Woody is sequestered at Bonnie's and the other toys are discovering Lotso's deal are a little flabby), but it's a wonderful realization of the ideas of friendship, connection, and devotion that the series has been exploring from the very beginning.

A fantastic follow up to Toy Story 1 & 2, it could be a stand alone movie in it's own right. Hilarious at times, yet manages to pull on the heartstrings quite possibly more than any other Pixar movie.

As a Disney fan, I have come to understand that sequels aren't their strong suit. However this film moved me and evoked a range of emotion that I wasn't expecting. Andy's "moving on" and the firescene were nothing short of beautiful. Certainly worth the watch.

Toy Story 3 may be the best film of the series. In their final adventure Woody must rescue Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the gang from a tyrannical daycare center. Once again Pixar delivers another poignant story about the life of a toy, and an inspirational message about friendship and loyalty. Though some of the material is derivative of the first two films, it works without coming off as a rehash or stale. For a generation that has grown up with Pixar, the Toy Story characters have become old friends and watching this film feels like coming home again. Toy Story 3 is a wonderful film that will entertain audiences to infinity and beyond.

Edges out the other two due to its mature story and fantastic characers—old and new alike—to forge the best adventure and best writing of the series thus far. And considering the other two, that's saying something.

This film gives us an epic and thrilling ending about Andy's relationship with his toys and at the same time makes us (like me) throw a tear.

The characters are familiar and enjoyable, yet "Toy Story 3" comes in a not too distant third in Pixar's most famous series of animated wonders. There's not a lot of additional things to experience through the eyes of these toys and of all of the characters, only Woody and Mr. Potato live up to or exceed their earlier roles. Funny, that's how good this trilogy has been. I'm talking about these cartoon characters as if they're actual actors. For my money, when Mr. Potato becomes a tortilla, it might be the funniest moment in any of the films.

The thing that keeps TS3 from matching the earlier movies is that it pulls on the heart strings way too much in its final moments and the final act is a little too heavy. The lightness and fun of the original and the sequel get lost somewhere along the way.

As expected the toys end up in a very happy situation. A just reward for all of the smiles they've provided over the decade since their debut.
