It had a pretty shallow plot and was based mainly on facial contortions and jump scares.

A strange and weirdly charming witchcraft horror. It's odd, funny and unsettling in a peculiar way. Right off the bat, this film takes an unexpected wild turn that comes off as ridiculous, which leads me to think this was going to be more of a dark comedy. It has a dreamlike feel to it and there are some genuinely chilling moments as well, even though the large part of the film feels unintentionally comedic. The narrative structure of the film definitely makes it much more interesting. It feels random at first but keeps things fresh and unpredictable. I probably would rate this higher if the obnoxiously loud sound was less jarring. That shit annoys me so much like you're not a Blumhouse film ffs. If you enjoy oddness and well peculiarity, such as myself, this film is probably for you.

Holy cow! This movie is bonkers! Bloody, scary, and a fascinating story to boot.

Feels like it had so much going for it, but just fell short of good. I thought the casting was spot on. The actors fit their roles very well. The atmosphere and visuals were very well done, original but didn't stray far from our notions of classic witches. The editing, pacing, story are what brings this down. Jumps around too much to ever get a feel for a coherent and digestible story. Lots of cheap jump scares. Too bad when it had so many things going for it.

Despite having a decent cast this was executed poorly, I can't recommend this to anyone and considering that
it ends with a to be continued, I dearly hope that it doesn't
A two part anthology focusing on two Witches and an epilogue to bring it all together. *Two Witches* is bloody, gory, gross, has great atmosphere and nicely done practical effects despite it's low budget. It relies on jumpscares and loud music for some of it's scares but other moments are genuinely scary. Lots of creepy and weird stuff. The stories are a bit lackluster and feel overlong even though they're split into two. Loved the song featured in here it's going straight to my playlist.

Chapter I: *Boogeywoman* 6/10
Chapter II: *Masha* 4/10
Epilogue & after credits 5/10
