While the story is powerful, the movie repeatedly fails to follow the most basic principle of "Show, don't tell." That makes it far less effective than it could otherwise be. It has some powerful scenes, which makes for a stark contrast with the poorer constructed scenes.

Propaganda movie made by the Donald Trump and right wingers of the USA to sensationalise the death of a foetus to forward their repressive ideas. Shame on you.

@fredphoesh You're right! The death of a fetus doesn't matter that much to be sensationalized /s

Really good movie, possitive message, just a bad heart/soul would hate it. I also understand why this movie has zero visibility on any platform, it is umcomfortable for the few controlling this world, who btw were mentioned right after main character decided to get out.

How can anyone call this "thing" a movie? It's nothing but a propaganda flick against abortion... it really doesn't matter how you got pregnant: rape, incest... whatever, you're a sinner if you get an abortion... what a load of superstitious Christian crap....

Incredibly powerful, Unplanned is true story of Abby Johnson, a Planned Parenthood clinic director who became pro-life. The film follows Abby as she joins Planned Parenthood as a volunteer in college to help women in crises and works her way up to counselor and eventually director, but when she’s called on to assist in an abortion everything changes. The writers do a good job at addressing the pro-life and pro-choice issues while keeping the focus centered on Abby. And while the story is ultimately pro-life, the film plays fair; showing extremists on both side, as well as good people of conscience. Additionally, Ashley Bratcher does an excellent job at showing the emotionally journey that Abby went through. Extraordinarily compelling, Unplanned takes the audience to the frontlines of the battle over abortion.

Based on a **true story**, this is one of the best autobiographical movies made on the topic. At some point in the future, humanity will look back on this time period in horror.
