Usual borderline biopic good mostly to know more about the character, who I did not know at all.

A solid properly long movie about the famous George Foreman. The casting made it great and the characters so likable. It is such an incredible story about he lead many lives and had many ups and downs. The thing holding this film back was getting to know his child hood and relationships with his siblings better.

I love biopics and I've been a fan of George Foreman for years so when this showed up in Netflix, I had to watch it. It was a good bio of Foreman and his life, rise to the pinnacle of boxing, and subsequent conversion to preacher. Understandably, much of it was overdramatized for the big screen and much of his childhood was encapsulated in only the first few minutes of the film. The film is central to George Foreman the "man", however, so the boxing is limited. If you're looking for a documentary that includes a lot of Foreman's fights, you'll definitely want to look elsewhere. This wasn't a bad biopic but is _does_ run on the lengthy side at over 2 hours. It's a fairly easy watch for real sports fans but it might become kind of tedious if you around in the peak of Foreman's boxing career.
