A very silly and cheesy Christmas movie that is very enjoyable though. It‘s so good to see Lindsay Lohan acting again, which is basically the reason I watched the film.

Really enjoyable, very predictable. There's not much that can be said about a film like this. I think if you are looking for an engaging romantic Christmas film then this could be for you.

They just can’t make good christmas movies anymore … so sad

Lindsay Lohan stars in the cheesy Netflix romantic comedy _Falling for Christmas_. Sort of a Christmas version of _Overboard_, a spoiled hotel heiress gets amnesia after hitting her head during a skiing accident and is found by a single father who takes her in and puts her to work at his B&B while she tries to get her memory back. All the acting is pretty bad (even Lohan is but a shadow of her former self) and the plot is painfully predictable with the most stereotypical characters possible. Yet it has a positive message about helping those in need and following one’s heart. Trite and cliché, _Falling for Christmas_ is a poorly made film that doesn’t work.

It's a Hallmark Christmas movie playing on Netflix. Basically they took the movie Overboard and added a Christmas setting while throwing the Hallmark movie play book at it.

It wasn't a bad movie overall if you're into a romance Christmas movie. My wife enjoyed it and I enjoyed trying to guess what was going to happen next.

At the end of the day it was nice to see Lindsay again and my wife enjoyed it.

After watching the highlight of Lindsay Lohan’s career in Mean Girls, watching this felt like a small train wreck. Plot is beyond cheesy, predictable, and nonsensical. It makes Hallmark movies look like quality films. That’s not to say people won’t enjoy this somewhat, but it’s not very redeemable to the vast majority.

Rating: 1/5 - 5.5/10 - Would Not Recommend

While modern christmas movies are not something that find my way to my screen I do watch one or two a year so I do understand how completely formulaic these movies are. I get that we are all watching them for the holiday cheese. If you are grading these movies you are doing so on a Hallmark scale. That said, this movie probably works better as "it is so bad that it is good". I can't tell you how many times I rolled my eyes at lines lifted directly from other movies (it borrows heavily from Overboard). At one point I laughed out loud when the the Mother-in-law made a statement like "if there was only some way that we could do x and y" - if you closed your eyes you could imagine that line coming from a movie that spoofed other movies (like Naked Gun). Maybe they were winking at us, I don't know.

This was actually pretty good. It is of course predictable and cheesy but that's not necessarily a bad thing when it comes to these romantic christmas movies. Lindsay Lohan does a great job and I was so glad to see her well. I'm not even really a fan of hers but I just felt genuinely so happy to see her having fun and smiling after everything she's been through. Honestly made my day.

Cheesy Christmas movie , but if you know what to expect it’s just ok to watch.

I love this cheesy ridiculously silly movie. It’s like a manic fever dream. There are no transitions, just bam bam bam. I love Ralph and Alejandra, they definitely steal the show. I really hoping this is the beginning of LILO’s redemption.

Don’t go into this expecting a masterpiece - you’ll be miserable. But if you go into this with low expectations and just hope for Christmas fun, you’ll enjoy the journey.

I hope they do a sequel. I hope it’s more cheesy, more ridiculous, and the silliest. The perfect Christmas escape.

There was a small town, a lost girl and an unconvinced boy at first. So everything seemed to be right, as it is in a typical Christmas movie. ;>

Very predictible movie from the beginning. And Lindsay is trying hard, however there’s something about her that doesn’t sit right with me. Maybe the plastic Barbie look?

It's a decent cheesy Christmas movie. The chemistry between the leads is refreshing, and the cheesy script was full of holiday fun. Welcome back Lindsay Lohan!
