Wasn't quite sure what to expect but the overriding emotion I had throughout was one of sadness. It's quite a sad profile of one of the most famous pinups of the 90's.

So what happens to the icons who define a certain decade in the decades after...? Now you have one of your answers.

They age. They struggle. They recalibrate what success is.

Hats off to Pamela for keeping a sense of humour and a desire to enjoy through a life that has had more than its fair share of highs and lows.

I doubt the next chapter won't be just as raw for her. We certainly haven't heard the last of her.

The sense of humor this woman has about things is so refreshing and I'm glad she didn't let the world and the industry beat that out of her or change her in any way. She deserves respect.

Pamela Anderson attempts to change her image with the self-serving documentary _Pamela, A Love Story_. Following the narrative of her recent biography (word for word at times), Anderson discusses her humble small-town roots and how Playboy shot her to fame, whirlwind romances, and a television career, and the controversies that followed. Completely one-sided, she plays the victim all while saying that she’s not a victim. Also, a lot of the candid home interviews come off as staged (which they are), giving an uneven feel to the documentary style. _Pamela, A Love Story_ does a decent job at covering Anderson’s life and career, but it has a superficialness to it, along with a number of glaring omissions.

This is a great documentary about Pamela‘s life and career. She is such an icon and it was horrible how she was treated by the media. Glad that she found some peace and she can be recognized for something else that just being a sex symbol. She really seems so down to earth and a genuinely nice person.

Watched because of Tom & Pammy and had an interest in her. Such a grounded person who I hope finds love again but beyond anything else put her kids first and that’s all she ever wanted. Hope the next phase of her life is her best one

Finally we get to see content about her approved by her. I love the Hulu show but seeing her view was even better. The best part was getting to know her kids. Amazing adults, caring for their mother and with strong personalities. She did a great job there, like in anything else she did. Always great. If I was in Hollywood, I would grab her to do one of those raw and powerful movies that depends on the actor. We see Brandon Fraser this year, maybe Pamela next year.

When I was young, I used to watch Baywatch, too, of course. It came to this country much later than it did in the US, but as young boys we were all over Pamela. We hid Playboy under our beds and later all her pictures on a floppy disk we borrowed at school. I remember I even saw the video and it was not glorious at all and you basically couldn't even see anything. To this day I still don't understand why it was such a sensation. Anyway, it certainly wouldn't ruin her career today.

The documentary is definitely worth watching, because you'll be surprised at what actually happened and where Pamela is today. A sad story with a pretty _happy_ ending.

I don't normally like biographical documentaries, but I really loved this one. It was just awesome to get to know Pamela's story on her terms.

Truly a strong woman.

Pamela shows us what life is really like behind the curtain for her and her children. A very eye opening documentary and one I very much enjoyed.
