It's a good one-time watch. Ignore the negative reviews, most of those folks are mad because it's a movie about cheating. And their small brain thinks by making movie about cheating will encourage people to cheat.

Shakun Batra's Gehraiyaan is a stimulating tale of infidelity, love, betrayal, and secrets that will get mixed reviews. The reason this was made released on OTT is a clear reason of niche audience it caters to. Anxiety, Depression, Traumatic pasts leading to unsettling relationships and toxic states of mind are well presented. The writing is good but not completely convincing and the screenplay is well done as well. The sterling performances of all actors especially Sid and Deepika stand out. The appeal of the film is for a very small section of Bollywood lovers, which is more mature than most of the fans can take in. Nevertheless, it's a fair attempt to represent complex relationships and Shakun deserves some luck for this film to work. I would recommend this only if you want to see Deepika on-screen.

Was much better than most of the stuff Bollywood puts out. Deffo not as bad as some of the reviews are making it out to be. Two thirds of the movie was one genre and then it just metamorphosised into something else, felt like a different movie, sort of....

it was a one time watch. dunno why people hated it. it is not that bad
