Good Lord, Nic Cage is Looney Toons! His ridiculous performance is what makes this as funny as it is. It's actually quite a dark comedy.

Watched this for HDTGM. Holy hell was Cage unhinged in this thing. It's funny, I don't think he's ever reached this level of bonkers since. I've been a big fan of Cage since his 90s heyday and I had never seen this. I see now why that is unforgivable. I mean....watch this thing. Is it horror? Comedy? AIDS Drama? Who knows, but Cage is his Cage-iest in this thing and it's a must watch.

Nicolas Cage as Nicolas Cage. The movie is high levels of absurdity, along with some not so much of anything else. Downward spiral Nicolas Cage all the way. The ending has always felt so abrupt.
