Vera lives in the shadow of her famous father. Tired of her superficial life and relationships, she drifts through Roman high society. When she injures a child in a traffic accident in the suburbs, she forms an intense relationship with an eight-year-old boy and his father. But soon she must realize that also in this world she is only an instrument for others.

[WatchAUT '23] A docu-fiction hybrid that reflects on the existential problems of Vera Gemma, labeled in Italy as the daughter of actor Giuliano Gemma, which is the biggest obstacle to developing a career as an actress herself. But there is also some exhibitionism, one of those divas of the Italian scene who finds in this film a way to claim herself as a person as well. The mix between reality and fiction works with remarkable fluidity, as if the character herself were also in her real life a mix between what she is and what she has built around her.
