Animation done right. The movie really has its own style.
The story is pretty good. Two children go in the mountain behind their village. There they find Violence Voyager, a abandoned looking theme park. But it's not abandoned, they get in and start some fun alien hunting. It then turns out there are other children trapped inside and the aliens are real. Let the slaughter begin.

The graphical style is really good , with bright colors, weird looking monsters, and looots of gore.
The animation is simple, characters are cut figures moving in front of the decor, but it works well and is part of the charm of the movie.
Also if you like children being cut, eaten, melted by acid, or transformed into weird monster's, this is for you.

I'm not quite sure what to make of this movie. The art direction is interesting for an animated film and the plot is clearly a disturbing one.

Another retro sci-fi geki-mation piece by director Ujicha. Of his two films so far, this is clearly the more visually polished one while not straying too far in tone from the nerdy fun of _Burning Buddha Man_. You can tell the director is making progress in terms of plot structure too, worlds ahead of his borderline-icomprehensible early short films, which are included in the Third Window Films bluray set. These films make me kinda hopeful that when the motion picture industry crashes and burns sometime in the future, there will always be ways of making appealing no-budget flicks about subject matter that’s way too obscure to get outside financing even in the current climate.
