I felt like I learned a lot about these 2 historical literary geniuses, watching this biographical depiction of their enfolding love affair. A fascinating glimpse into polyamourous marriages in the early 20th century, queer dynamics, and gender non-conformity. Beautiful and well-paced film with great cinematography, and ever so slight visual effects which added a nice touch. A surprising anachronistic score that I thought wouldn't work... but then was pleasantly surprised when it didn't detract from the film. And a superb job by Elizabeth Debicki as 'Virginia Woolf - she should get an academy award nom. I'd happily watch it again!

Great actors and a meh plot. Started strong finished pretty weak. Felt like we held all that drama and yearning for a fizzle. Still pretty to watch at least once.

Two modern women in a film told in an occasionally modern way. But it does get a little wearying towards the end, like a good book that eventually outstays its welcome because of overly drawn out chapters.
