Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story walks very hard in the first act but stumbles towards the middle. Still, it has the legs to stride past and step of the toes of most walking in its shoes.

This parody of rock stars isn't just a successful satire of biopics and music in general, it also succeeds where other films of its ilk fail: it's a funny satire period.

And cameos of Jack Black and Eddie Vedder?! Are you kidding me!? An instant classic and one of my top 10 comedies of all time.

This should've been the endgame for the 'based on a true story music biopic', but I guess they didn't get the joke.

One of the funniest films. More people need to see it. The cameos are great, the story is interesting and hilarious. A must see if you're into the step brothers style humour.

A funny take on the generic biopic.

Lots of stupid humour that will definitely make you laugh alongside some really good music and some hilarious celeb cameos

Definitely one of my favorite comedies. The story is mainly based on Ray and Walk the line, two of the best biopics of all time in my opinion. The story doesn't get boring and you are guaranteed to laugh at least a couple of times. The film is great, but the soundtrack is in my opinion the best part of the entire film. John C. Reilly (who plays Dewey Cox) performs most of the songs himself and he does a great job doing so. His vocals are great. The songs are really catchy as well. I would definitely recommend this film, this is another one of those films with great re-watch value.
