Newly engaged Shelby John and Ruby Red want a fresh start after their struggles with addiction, but when Shelby discovers his beloved Ruby dead on their porch, he embarks on a vengeful killing spree of the dealers who supplied her. Armed with nothing but adrenaline and a nail gun, Shelby begins to unleash chaos on the town’s criminal underbelly, as he hunt’s down crime lord Coyote. Sheriff Church must race against the clock to put an end to Shelby's vigilante justice before the entire town descends into a bloodbath.

I don't know what this baloney is about. Did de Niro lose a bet? sometimes it looks like de Niro is in another movie and then they accidentally cut the two movies together. the whole time De Niro's character tells some pseudeo-philosophical crap that doesn't even make any sense. Well, at the end there's a bit of boom boom.

It's a movie so bad that it's even charming, with the presence of A-list actors such as Robert De Niro and John Malkovich who are left a mystery as to how they could be convinced to participate in this story. At least Jack Huston makes an effort to add some complexity to his character in a revenge story that begins as a bland love-and-drugs story only to drift into a third act that isn't even as ironically gory as it should have been. Producer of the latest crap films starring Bruce Willis, the now director Randall Emmett has a knack for convincing great actors like Al Pacino to be part of his films.

Yeah, this is just not a good movie. Not even for a dime-a-dozen action flick. Even the actors know this. Robert deNiro fumbles through his lines, John Malkovich puts in a half-hearted performance.
