The characters were unrelatable unfortunately. The cast made me watch the film but the execution was flat. Both characters are too wrapped up in themselves.

I found it interesting. It touches some sensible subjects, like the disruptions between a teenager and his older than the norm parents. It's hard enough to be a teenager in this day and age and I bet it's even harder when you have parents who don't understand you, because they were your age like 4 decades ago.

The movie is fine, I don't have any negative feelings about it but also there's nothing about it that makes you say this is a great movie. Pretty much exactly the film you would expect from Jesse Eisenberg. The ending just feels like it’s missing something almost like it’s incomplete.

I have no idea what I just watched. What is it with Hollyweird lately serving up so many slurries of nothing but dysfunctional awkward and cringe, and calling them movies? I guess there's some meta in there somewhere, but geez.
