Actually not too bad. The acting was decent and the plot worked just fine although I expected more from the ending. Overall, a pleasant watching experience.

it's an "okay" kinda movie. [spoiler] at times it felt like a _Supernatural_ episode. there were over 100 rooms in the mansion but we only got to see a few of them. Helen Mirren's acting is probably the best thing about this movie [/spoiler]

I loathe this recurring trend I'm seeing with a load of movies being put out, not just in the horror community.
