Such a beautiful man, and such beautiful messages he conveyed. Wished he was my neighbour, although I have been blessed in my life by those people who shared his generosity of soul and grace. Wouldn't it be good if we could all be a little kinder, more generous, and more graceful to those around us? Fred Rogers certainly inspired me to be that better man.

Hard not to watch this and think yourself in great need of being more kind. Nostalgic and interesting look into Rogers' life and so great to see a behind-the-scenes figure as good as you'd hoped it would be. To see a proponent of values that are in such desperate need in our modern times is inspiring. The most important things are indeed, invisible!

It's not just that you get to know Mr Rogers better through this film, it's that you get to know yourself a bit better too. The documentary takes you deeply into the intimate world that Fred Rogers inhabited, through interviews of his family and co-workers, but it also takes you through the intimate world that is self-confidence. By showing the world through Roger's philosophy we are reminded of the importance of children and seeing the world through their eyes.

"There's no person in the whole world like you, and I like you just the way you are."

'Won't You Be My Neighbor?' is an emotional ride into the life and career of Fred Rogers. The success, the downfalls and why we need someone like him in this hopeless century. We need more kindness.

No other person on this planet understands children better than Mr. Rogers. Even just watching old clips from his show, it feels like he's talking to you and informing how unique you truly are, since no one else will say it.

So yeah, I was emotionally flawed by this. Highly recommend.

Even if you didn't like the documentary or him in general, Mr Rogers still likes you and thinks you’re special.

Incredibly touching and powerful, Won’t You Be My Neighbor? is a wonderful documentary about children’s performer Fred Rogers. The film looks at how a young aspiring minister named Fred Rogers got into the burgeoning industry of children’s television and created one of the most influential programs of his day. Friends, family, cast members, and industry experts discuss Roger’s unique approach to educating and entertaining children and the positive messaging of his work (emphasizing each child’s specialness and self-worth). Also discussed are his bold attempts to address and relieve the tensions and anxieties that children had about political events happening around them, including the Vietnam War, racial tensions, and 9/11, in terms that they would understand. Won’t You Be My Neighbor? is a loving testament to the work and legacy of Mr. Rogers.

Wildly uninformative. Really don't feel like I learned anything about him. Watch the PBS Michael Keaton special that comes out every time they want money over there and you will learn much more. Nostalgia value only. 3/10
