@makegs Tell me about it. Dude has some serious anger issues. Getting all worked up like that over a movie. Why didn't you reply to him directly though?

Once again I need to just say it: I absolutely love Greek mythology and the encyclopedia of monsters they have. That being said I don't know why the Clash and Wrath of Titans movies can't figure out how to tell a good story. The creature design is awesome, so really you just need guidance on how to tell a good story.

Agreed. These movies need to stop now. 300 was good. All down hill from there..

I refuse to look at "Wrath of the Titans" as anything but a monster movie. If I think back to the orignal "Clash of the Titans" "Jason and the Argonauts" the "Sinbad" movies we watched for the beasts the Harryhausen creations. We didn't watch them for any deep meaning. We watched them for the action and adventure.

"Wrath of the Titans" may not improve over time but it's not that bad to begin with. There's plenty of excitement including a pretty gripping journey through a labrynth. And then there's those giant monsters. There all CGI but they actually look pretty good. Plus the giant lava god Kronos is as gigantic of a creation as you've ever seen in the movies. Sam Worthington is a personable likeable hero. Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes provide solid support as god brothers.

It's all spectacle and it's big dumb fun. Don't expect anything enlightening and you'll enjoy it.

It was so silly that Perseus had a buzz cut in the first film. That this sequel was made so they could get it right give him long hair lol. I’m kidding, it is actually based on a book, it turns out.
I think I would have took the first film seriously though. If Sam Worthington looked like he does in this film.
Either way this was a pretty forgettable sequel. The first is better despite Worthington’s buzz cut.

The first film Clash of the Titans like most films that has a sequel is better than this film. I felt like Wrath of the Titans was just an OK movie. It wasn't great, and it wasn't awful either. I never saw Clash of the Titans in 3D so I can't comment on the difference in 3D effects between the two; special effects had improved though. The story line in the film felt boring to me at times, and it could have used a couple of more action scenes in there.
