I didn't think I would enjoy this movie because...

It is not the long awaited adaptation of the popular 0 and X's game
I am not a big fan of electronic music
I have never been to a rave in my life

And yet... I enjoyed it. The story and characters were a little cliched but the film is stylishly made with a great visual style. I even tapped my feet a couple of times along to the music.

90 minutes of excitement and entertainment

I anticipated this movie so much, as I am myself a big fan of EDM and music festivals. And I have to admit it, that XOXO is on the spot, regarding making a perfect atmosphere, building up a world which is just full of magic, at least on its surface. It didn't fail to do that. However, it failed to do everything else unfortunately. The atmosphere and perfect choice of music isn't enough to keep me awake. The film just gets boring, its plot is the biggest cliché ever, I can't feel the chemistry between the characters what I think I'm supposed to, and once again: the story is just boring, too much to let me want to finish watching the film. I only watched it until the credits because I'm still obsessed with the EDM festival world it builds up, the music and the setting, and also Sarah Hyland.

love this movie, give you warmth. Netflix keeps on surprising me.
