The movie may be based on the Korean movie "The Quiet Family" but it had all the elements of a good horror comedy. They movie tend to be spooky at times and extremely funny the other times. Certainly enjoyed the movie! 8/10

Frankly, most horror films made in Tamil cinema have only ended up as unintentional comedies. Director Deekay seems to understand this and though Yaamirukka Bayamey is a haunted house story, he goes for laughs more than chills.
