I tried to give this a go out of Kevin Smith nostalgia but whoa. Do yourself a favor and give this a firm pass.

Went into it, expecting a really bad movie but enjoyed it a lot.
This movie had me laughing my ass of falmost every scene with Johny Depp.
I am a fan of B movies and do enjoy some bad flicks every now and again and this is one example.
Kevin Smith himself said he wanted to do this movie not just for the fans but the experience of making a movie with his daughter and good for him. He likes to make movie that he wants to make and not just make what the public wants to see.

More proof that Kevin Smith just does whatever he wants now. There were a few elements of the movie that were cool. There were some moments that make it feel like a classic B-movie but the premise is so stupid and the characters aren't very likeable. Lilly Rose Depp and Harley Quinn Smith are basically everything that everyone hates about young people and they are borderline unlikeable. I don't know how anyone could really enjoy this movie.

I have never been a big fan of Kevin Smith, and this film reminds me why. Utter drivel of the highest order; in its attempt to be modern and goofy, it only ends up being dated and stupid.

It's goofy enough. It's just not fun enough. It'll probably get more fun with a second watch. The plot is a mess. Barely comprehensible. I mean there are three different antagonists. The nepo baby kids are... well fine. Johnny Depp's daughter and Kevin Smith's daughter are entertaining enough. Smith's direction is on point. I really like the visual style of the movie in some part (character vignettes) and less so in other (the Bratzi explosions) but with a net positive.

I think the movie just needed to trim off some of the fat and stick with one primary antagonist and really minimize the other two to shadows of what they are now. and even for a goofy throwaway film this could have been something interesting.

I wasn't a fan of Tusk...but this "sequel" was the perfect blend of stupid and funny. I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to.

I seldom turn off a movie once I've pressed play but 15 minutes of this was enough, and by that Haley Joel Osment, which I've hated since The Sixth Sense, hadn't even appeared on screen yet so I knew the chances of it getting any better was less than zero.

From Kevin Smith comes the horror-comedy Yoga Hosers, the second entry in his True North trilogy. The story follows two convenience store clerks who get charged with murder when a party goes wrong, and to prove their innocence they team up with a private detective to hunt down a group of diminutive creatures who live beneath their store and are behind a string of murders. Harley Quinn Smith and Lily-Rose Depp lead the cast, and while Depp has a magnetic screen presence (like her father), Smith is death weight. The characters are poorly written, and the story is incredibly dumb. And, the humor isn’t really that funny; lacking the clever wit of Kevin Smith’s earlier films. Yet there are some fun cameos that longtime fans will enjoy, and the soundtrack is really well-done. But ultimately Yoga Hosers is little more than a vehicle for Kevin Smith and Johnny Depp to showcase (and work with) their daughters, and has no real substance to it.

Kevin Smith has been watching Mike Myers, and it wasn't good.

And then, in he middle of it all, there is a Stan Lee cameo. WTF??
