This is a remarkable movie that teaches great lessons and combines great acting and storyline. Jumanji meets The Princess Bride

My 6 year old and I just watched this movie together. He loved it!!

-def a kids movie
-and a reminder that I never want them, as seen in this movie they're annoying,stubborn,selfish and stupid, and before someone looses it: ofc its mostly not their fault, thats just how kids are but those are some of the reason why Im not a kids person
-acting is pretty good from everyone, especially for their age
- but it does feel like a cheap jumanji knockoff , for me it was pretty boring but I think for kids its more entertaining
- many things didnt make sense, like Im really not a science person but flames/burning in space does seem wrong. But then again this movie isnt really about logic/reality lol
-the twist with the astronaut wasn't bad [/spoiler]

Dear God I wanted the punch the little kid in the face... What an obnoxious whiny cheating loud ass character.

In concept a decent movie... But lack of ruleset and pacing kinda ruined it.

It's just a worse jumanji. Literally.

A decent family movie with a small educational message and a few rising "stars".

Zathura is a black hole!!

I really liked this. A fun, tense little outer space adventure. I would have flipped for this if it would have been around when I was young. My kids enjoyed it, too.

No it's not Jumanji, but still it's a nice movie.

Perfect family movie. i first watched it as a kid, now rewatching it after 13 years it's still pretty awesome! And i dont think there are that many kid movies in these 13 years was as exciting as this one.

If I would ve watched this movie as a kind, my mind would have blown. Wow =)

A Jumanji look-alike set in space. Not as great as Jumanji though.
