Anders Jacobsson

Writer

Anders Jacobsson, born 4 August 1963 in Karlskoga, Örebro county, is a Swedish children's book author. Jacobsson is the son of the engineer Owe Jacobsson and the clerk Ulla-Britt Stjernberg. He has held various positions at Konsum in Karlskoga 1979–1985, Stråningstorps skola in Karlskoga 1982–1984 and Lokalradion Karlskoga 1984–1985. He studied information science at Örebro University in 1985. In 1983, 20-year-old Anders began writing a story about a little boy who would do something, which was rarely written about in children's literature at the time. He would show emotion, and be a softie who could admit that he was unhappily in love, scared, weak, cowardly and liked kisses and hugs. Anders gave him the name Karl Sune Rudolf Andersson. Together with his cousin Sören Olsson, he started the company Änglatroll AB in 1986. He is the author of children's and youth books, including the books about Sune and Bert, the TV series Sune's Christmas, the radio series Almanackan and music and theater.

Born: August 4, 1963 (Age 60) in Karlskoga, Örebro län, Sweden
