Born in Jambi. Education: high school, ABA, English course (LIA), and University Prof. Dr. Mustopo (1972-1977). Before going to the film Deddy became a Selecta reporter, then became the managing editor of Stop magazine. In this magazine he became acquainted with the screenplay. When an offer from Wim Umboh (1939-1996) came up with a scenario, it was agreed. Yet at that time he was completely blind about the scenario. After borrowing a scenario from Suzanna and asking fellow journalists here and there, the scenario of being pursued by Sin (1974). Deddy continued to study by reading a lot of books until finally he was able to fulfill various requests. He has already made hundreds of scenarios, he has been dubbed a scenario factory.And now wrote scenarios for soap operas, including the Gara Gara series (1991-1998).
