Kate is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where she majored in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. For almost seven years, Kate has been most well known at the author of serialized young adult fiction on Wattpad, a popular online writing community and mobile app, where she has over 97k followers. Her hit novel Float has over 18 million reads. She lives for clever wording and tidy grammar, and her experience writing young adult fiction for a global online audience, paired with her academic background, has taught her to appreciate clear, concise communication and the importance of storytelling. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Kate refused to become a Los Angeles Lakers fan, but she did appreciate LA's brunch culture and food trucks.
