In 2003, she won the 45th Japan Record Award for Poetry at Mika Nakajima's “Yuki no Hana” . The three-year award-winning songwriter debuts the shortest record among poetry award winners among non-artist songwriters. And 39 people won the poetry award (former Saijo 80th Award) until the 53rd Japan Record Grand Prix in 2011 . Among them, Satomi is the first English writer to win. In 2012, he won the 54th Japan Record Award for Best Work in " Thank you " from JUJU and " White Angel " from Fairies .
