Incredible series. I'm a true crime junkie, but I can't enjoy a lot of the content out there because it's just not to my prefered standard. I borderline binged seasons 1-10 over a month and a half. Some seasons are better than others, but overall they are all stellar true crime docs. If you enjoy true crime on yt, through podcasts etc and search for crime documentaries, you will not find better on YT or in another series that mimics this format (at least in English).

Warning that it's harrowing, very disturbing and heavy. After watching about three seasons (I went randomly from recent seasons to earlier seasons etc), it became a lot to get through because the subject matter can be very, very rough and the reality is one you'll just not want to know about. You hear and see victim accounts and the duality of offenders. You'll also get the police's side in a close up and personal way, but everything is done professionally. Each season has a clear idea of the types of issues they want to approach and overall the show is quite cohesive. There was about one or two seasons that were questionable with some quite unlikeable detectives, but the creators figured out very early the perfect equation for a gripping true crime series. Less likeable regulars were swapped out relatively quickly and more likeable ones stayed as repeats longer. Some seasons are more tame, but others are gut-wrenching. All in all it's very real and gritty. A show that's well put together and engrossing. Definitely put it on the top of your list if you're a true crime buff.
