Alert: Missing Persons Unit - :heart:x6

It's just yet another average cop/procedural show.

How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!

Was a decent show when it started, but then last episode, one,of the characters turns gay, and another one anounces that they are trans. I am equal rights but every damn show out there does not need to include the lgbtqacrs+/-#. It kills me.

I really tried but after EP2 need to quit. So much plot holes, so much nonsense and any dump cliche u could imagine. Had a hard time even pulling through EP2.

Best way to sum this up: Never put Scott Caan in anything, ever. He's a terrible actor and any show he's in suffers as a result.

That being said, this show does indeed suck and the theme has been done, overdone, redone and redone again so many times that it's just a blur of super cheesy procedural episodes that make you want to tear your eyes out.

It is incredible how bad the series is, the acting, the ideas that come to mind, I am looking at the last chapter and it seems more like a fantasy because of the ideas and solutions than a rescue series.

I can't get pass the new boyfriend and his feelings. I can't understand why on TV with a kid being kidnapped or murdered I never understood why this wouldn't make the parents stronger and be there for one another. The storyline is their divorced and navigating this with new person(which they could not get on the same level as you because it's not their child). This little whiny new fiancé turns me off from the whole series.

maybe 20 years ago but this kind of procedural now is so childish. I think as viewers we are passed this kind of nonsense
Bad acting, bad dialogoue, really bad scenes on the show.
As far as the kid, we all see that coming and i' m trying to remember another older show with a son o a senator with the same plot. “the family”, that was good

@ferlba it doesn't even feel like an 80's series i'm trying to like the show as i believe it does have great potential maybe with some recasting the performances from Scott, Ryan and Fivel are great nothing to complain about but some of the dialogue from the others i find myself cringing way to much

Credit to Fox, then, for the altruism of releasing this Inept Procedural. The new drama isn’t offensive or necessarily outrageous in its badness. Either episode I’ve seen is equally flimsy. The second episode is wholly forgettable. All this could probably be mitigated if Alert had any visual flair. I’m not angry at it. It’s just inept, and were it not for the presence of Jamie Foxx as co-creator, I have a hard time imagining the show ever would have made it to air.

… I feel bad, but mostly bad that I wasn’t watching something better.
