Wow, Di$ney really doubled down on the non-consensual medical scans and interventions.

There's not much I can say about this mini-series, so I'll keep it brief. I've been a fan of the _Big Hero 6_ franchise since the original 2014 movie, even going as far as watching _Big Hero 6: The Series_ through its entire run and reading the accompanying comics/manga.

_Baymax!_ is really just a set of fun shorts centered around the comedic healthcare robot, as he helps an assortment of characters through various issues. This isn't some action-packed sequel that people were anticipating (seriously, just go watch the Disney TVA series for that), but rather an entertaining set of slice-of-life episodes that have the comedic chops and heartwarming moments of the original movie, as well as some pretty nice touches of topic variety. I enjoyed my time with it, mainly because Baymax's character is just so witty and mechanical that it just works well with the scenarios at play here.

The 3D animation is nice and all, but don't go in expecting some new grand adventure. These would've fit better just as a series of Disney shorts for release online or something.

@speady99 "These would've fit better just as a series of Disney shorts for release online or something."<br /> <br /> This is a Disney+ exclusive, so that's actually what they did.

@aeronmelon I meant more in line with releasing them exclusively and weekly on their YouTube channel or something, rather than locking it behind a subscription service. Only thing worth its quality is the animation imo.

@speady99 Point taken. And you're right about the animation. That's probably the reason why it looks so good with such a short turn around time. Even Disney wouldn't have the resources to make a full-blown series that quickly. I would have preferred another season of the cartoon, which is in many ways superior to the original movie.<br /> <br /> (Also, don't look now, but Trakt is already listing another series of CG shorts called "Baymax and Mochi". Oh boy!)

It's really unfortunate that these are just so short.

a bunch of sweet short stories of what Baymax gets up to whilst Hiro is out at nerdschool .

The 8-10s in the house loved it

My personal annoyances - The cat in the last episode is too smart. that is all

Disney, stop it!, I thought they would make a full-fledged series about Baymax, but they made six 7-minute sketches without a common plot, in which even the same jokes can be repeated several times in a episode, I didn’t smiled even once, it was hard to watch, suitable only for 5-year-olds to watch in the background, but is this the level of Disney and such a popular character? They also piled a ton of "agenda" here

It's such a sweet show. I really don't know how people can hate it cause it's so adorable. I was watching this with my little siblings and they were hooked. I just wish that there was more of it.
