I watched many adaption of "The Beauty and the Beast" fairytale and can therefore say: If you're a fan of the fairytale you can ignore this movie/show as it barely has anything in common with it anymore. Take the magical story of Beauty and the Beast, remove all magic (and the curse) and fill it up with a beautiful prince who's questionable actions would drive away any sane girl. The actors are nice to look at. Too bad that the script is a mess though and ruins the experience. It makes the leads play hot 'n' cold with each other for nearly 2 hours and makes the end feel rushed even though you longed for it to happen. Not to mention the plot holes. I'm not even bothering explaining in detail why a wound with a fork is most likely fatal in the time this script plays. Just one word: infection.
Oh and one character claims they're not a doctor yet they mix stuff for fever (without giving warranty it helps but guess what it does) and a tranquilizer...eh yeah sure.... *rolls eyes*
The cover looks way too promising, even the rose has lost its meaning. It's simply used to produce something. This movie/show is disappointing, not enchanting me and that's something rare as I love the fairytale it is based on.
