I wanted to like this so much, the manga is amazing and the other anime adaptations were actually pretty good, but they just had to let such an amateur studio (or actually two at the same time) adapt it, I'm really disappointed. Let's hope this show at least garners more attention to Berserk in general.

make sure you watch the bluray and not the tv broadcast version.

It's incredibly difficult to see anything in this that one may have liked about the 1997 series, and it's such a jarring step down from the Golden Age Arc trilogy.
