At long last, this show has concluded. Can I get some applauding from the crowd? Yeah, who am I kidding? There isn't one. Not anymore. And that's implying that there was one, at some point. I think there was...when the show first started. But as the show progressed (through tedious endeavors), that crowd began to gradually diminish. It's a shame when you think about it.

The first two seasons were beyond mediocre, and very enjoyable. There was a manifestation of intrigue throughout those two seasons. But then, the show started to become tedious without the enjoyment and intrigue to back it up, to make that tediousness not that big of a deal. Still, that wasn't too bad. Only there came a point where it was, and the show kept getting worse from there.

I'm sure there were a lot of people who liked the show very much when it began, and rightfully so, I'd say, and wanted it to last forever, or for as many seasons as there was, or more. But I feel like that mentality started to crumble for some of those people if not a lot of them, as the show moved forward, especially after the first two seasons. In hindsight, it's much more apparent that the show began going downhill after that point. In short, it became mediocre.

As a whole, the first two seasons were exciting. After that, that wasn't the case. If anything, there were only moments scattered throughout the subsequent seasons that were exciting, enjoyable, that sort of thing. And that was disappointing. A punch in the gut, if you will. Because there was so much excitement and intrigue when the show started, which lasted one more season. All of which was dulled down tremendously after the second season and replaced with mediocrity. Again, amidst all of that, there were still many enjoyable moments. It's just that, as a whole, none of the following seasons were as good, which sucked.

I'm still in the process of watching ("re-watching") the entire show, as in watching it from beginning to end and logging it and having a comment/review of sorts to go along with each episode, but I've been watching the show as it airs since the fourth, maybe the third season. And all I felt once having watched the series finale was this subtle sense of relief, relief that the show is, finally, over.

That may seem harsh, which I can understand, but I didn't hate the final season or the series finale, and I certainly don't hate the show, nor did I begin to, at any point, although I may have been quick to say harsh(er) things and had an overly harsh, overreaction about certain things or aspects throughout the show, especially with my comments on each episode of the first season, when I began my re-watch, that I'd probably feel much differently about once I get around to continuing my re-watch of the show that has been on hiatus for a while, now, maybe from the beginning, again, to get into a continual groove of things, from start to finish. I just started to like it less and less.

So, yeah. That's what I have to say about this show. It was very enjoyable, and most enjoyable, with the first two seasons, then started going downhill from there. But there were many memorable moments of which were still enjoyable, too, that were scattered throughout the subsequent seasons. I just think that the show became mediocre by then, even despite still having moments like that. And again, let me preface all of this by saying that I DO NOT hate the show. My liking and enjoyment towards it merely started to decline as it went on. That's all. Hopefully, some of you that read this liked the show very much. And won't be mad that I started to like it less, of course.
