This was among the best anime(s) of Fall 2022 for me. Bocchi's characters made the show so lively (the irony).
It is one of those "cute girls doing cute things" themed shows that can be enjoyed by everyone regardless if you're into this genre or not. The plot wasn't anything extraordinary but will keep you attached all along.

This is my favorite new anime for 2022. I genuinely cannot recommend it enough.

this anime had a great sense of humor & the comedy, funny reactions + drawings were hilarious

and!! the emotional scenes like in ep6 when she's playing that street performance, the voice actress did a great job there, and in ep7 too as well as ep8, those are my favorite so far
& i really liked the guitar solos and how bocchi plays

one detail i really loved about this anime was those random posters of artists and bands that are shown here and there throughout each episode, i wonder if they're actual references to real life bands

the way some of their funny scenes are executed was top tier and refreshing, i absolutely ADORED the inclusion of real life elements to deliver those fun moments, this anime was amazing

I didn't expect to like this so much. The MC is so relatable in many aspects.

I just saw the first episode of the series and I immediately fell in love. I couldn't stop laughing and getting second hand embarrassment because, as a man with extreme social anxiety that makes me feel like I am about to puke whenever I meet someone new, I just saw myself within bocchi. I too learned how to play guitar as a way to make some friends and I cringed so hard when she brought the guitar to her school because I new that the sad reality is that nobody cared before and they weren't going to start now. It made me feel seen, like "hey, introverts with social anxiety exist out there, be a pal to them (in their terms please, there's nothing worse than an out going person making you fell like you're not a good friend because you don't want to go out to party every weekend). Anyway, this show is great and hilarious, watch it.

A heart-warming and fairly well done little show. More entertaining than most CGDCT shows and rises above that trope to do a little something special with all the characters. And yes, the music is actually pretty good

Best anime of fall 2022

Someone described it as 'socially-akward k-on' and that's pretty apt for the most part. It's got comedic timing, unique characters and lots of anxiety-driven over-thinking lol.

Cloverworks does an excellent job animating this work with a mix of traditional, rotoscoping and 3d animation. There was also a bit of experimentation in some scenes (I'll let you find out first-hand). The story definitely caters more to music enthusiasts who happen to be introverts or/and have social anxiety.

Loved the original music and I'd be interested in how the story moves forward. hope there'll be more seasons to come!

A show with a good core and heart, brought down by the occasional filler that makes me not even want to continue the show.

Wouldn't say that this is the best anime of the year, but ep5 and ep10 are pretty great, not gonna lie. And I like some of the details about social anxiety.
