Seasons 1 + 2 were great - the dynamic in the Sorjonen family was interesting and provided a good storyline outside of the cases that Kari was solving, and the cases themselves stretching across 2 or 3 episodes were just long enough to get into detail and provide satisfying ends. The way season 3 started I thought I was going to hate it. [spoiler]Kari and Janina’s relationship really deteriorated after Paulina’s death, and Janina in particular really went off the rails (who kills a dog??). After their breakthrough when Kari goes to grab her from her boyfriends house (who she was abusing) it was good to see them start to lean on each other again. [/spoiler] The story started off a bit random, but it all made sense by the end of the season. Well done!
