Highly enjoying this, all the Gilmore Girl feels~

Amazing, only just discovered this 10 years afterwards. Such a treat for any Gilmore Girls fan.

It starts slow, but stick with it, you’ll like it.

There are so many Gilmore Girls actors in here, it's like some weird alternate universe.

The only flaw in Bunheads is that it only has one season when it should have had at least 5

ABC Family needs it's collective heads examined. This show was a hit! They murdered a hit! FIrst, they give it a totally unattractive name (yeah, I get the ballerina top-knot reference, but, really!, misdirect the audience from the start, why don't you). Then, they do little-to-nothing to market it to fans of Amy Sherman-Pallaidino or GILMORE GIRLS both of which have a rabid fan base clamouring for a GILMORE revival for over 15 years (I'm a huge GILMORE GIRL fan but I only came upon this by accident, following Sutton Foster's filmography). And they cancelled it just as it was hitting it's stride. The cast is fantastic (2 x Tony winner Hutton Foster treats us with some of her Broadway hits, the young talent are all triple threats dancing/singing/acting) the writing is sharp, wittty and filled with pop-culture hooks, the dance/singing numbers are a feast. So, after a single, stunning season, what does ABC Family do - thanks it's talented creator and cast and announce it's intentions not to renew! Idiots! I give this series a 9.5 (superb) out of 10. I give ABC Family a shake of my head. [Drama, Comedy, Musical, Dance]

Took them long enough to confirm that it has been cancelled, but yeah, it is no more. Fuck this. :(
I LOVED this show so much, oh man...

This show will probably go places! I'm not sure if it's a drama, a comedy or Glee with dancing instead of singing, but the first two episodes were are very promising start.

Sure, there will be dancing scenes (which are very good btw), what with most of the main characters being dancers, but this is so much than that. It's funny (some dialogue is downright hilarious), it's charming, it's heartwarming. The cast seems very good so far and they show doesn't take itself all too seriously. The second episode so wasn't what I was expecting to see after the first episodes ending. It was much better actually.

I want to see where this is going. Just don't decent into a soap opera... please please please.

Not really my demographic, but Hulu served me this witty, funny, clever, hilarious, engaging, silly single season series. It's written like The West Wing but about a small ballet dance studio.
