Songs from our era mix with stories from 1920? I've never been so distracted by a music.

holy hell, this is so good! i liked season 2, it is way better than the first one. i did not expect to care about the character this much. the acting is excellent and yeah, the music doesn't go with the era but still they are good songs.

Exposes women life in difficulties in different areas. Sorority and friendship. It makes us wish a life with girl friends like them, makes us value those that we already have, and become a friend like that.

Probably one of the worst shows I'd ever seen. Begin bad, but ends worst!

This show contains practically all of the elements I enjoy in my television. Beautiful period costumes! Antique telephones! Independent ladies! A chance to practice my Spanish! And *SPOILER* in the second season, ~MURDER~. It’s not an excellent show, per se. It often falls on tropes and flimsy plotlines, but it is positively enjoyable.

I've really enjoyed this show for the most part. The décor and costumes were a feast for the eyes!! The acting was pretty great too; you can't help but to love the characters... despite their many stupid/extreme decisions:person_facepalming_tone4:♀. However, I had to deduct a full point because of the TERRIBLE ending! The ending makes it feel like the girls just gave up, and that it was all for nothing.:pensive:

I'm also deducting a point for ALL the times they emasculate the men who'd walk on hot lava for them. I think it's great to tell the story of First Wave Feminist, however what people haven't figured out yet is that you don't have to emasculate a man to be a feminist... especially men like Francisco. All men, just like all women, are not the same. I liked this show at first because it did a good job of showing the struggles of women in that era without perpetual man bashing, but the writers got lazy and descended into that stereotypical approach. :unamused: All in all though a great series and I'd generally recommend it.
