My favorite show from all the Chicago series. Hank Voight is the best.

A spin-off that worth as much as the principal show.

Surprisingly quite good, at first glance you'd expect a generic cop show but this one is actually enjoyable.

Hank Voight has entered the realm of Jack Bauer, John Wick, Leon, Frank Castle, Jason Bourne. He is truly a badass.

I’ve been binge watching this show for a month. A little backstory to my life; I’ve done time in state and federal prison, I’ve also served in the military. I know weapons, tactical procedures and protocols.

This show is by far THE BEST police drama I’ve ever watched. For those looking at it for entertainment, it may be exciting and sometimes emotional, but those who look for the techniques language, and processes, this is a really good show to see that.

When they make entry into a structure, calling out. Their position, radio talk, weapon handling, takedowns... no Kung fu theatrics...

The only thing I hate about the show is I’m nearly finished and there are no more episodes being made.

I shouldn’t have gotten in trouble early on in life, this makes me want to be law enforcement.

I was not interested in a Chicago police drama, but I ran out of programming to watch on my fire stick so I gave CPD a shot. Damn! Voight is a total badass! The whole crew is bad ass!

So much raspiness in their voices! Either they all smoke cigarettes or it’s the Chicago pollution or maybe everybody in Chicago speaks badass, I’m not sure, it the show has the right combination of drama, violence, humor, “oh shit!” moments, and passion. The only thing missing is cursing.

why didn't Burgess didn't died my:rage: . Poor Chicago with a police force which exist of murderers , criminals :joy: and lawbreakers.

I am a sucker for any procedural drama. Is the show morally questionable? YES. But it is a well written, action packed, and an intense show. My guilty pleasure.

It starts out as "police brutality: the show" but some of the characters grew on me after a while of watching them in Fire and PD. i just started skipping through or ignoring the parts where a particular set of characters aggressively question suspects, and after it addresses police reform, it calms down.
