@bardolph77 I couldn't disagree more, and I don't really understand people like you who love throwing shade. When decent people dislike a show, then as soon as they realize this, they turn it off and walk away as their time is valuable. They understand that others might enjoy it and don't get a thrill trying to shit on them. Also, "Loving almost everything in the scifi and fantasy genre" doesn't make you an expert. You've lumped together an astoundingly broad and massive set of MANY interconnected genres and sub-genres spanning back over 100 years. Nobody loves it all because there is something for everyone. Even you. I'm an old geezer who's been reading and watching all the Sci-Fi i and Fantasy can get my hands on for 40 years, and can say that the more one learns, the more they realize they haven't learned anything at all. It's a very big world.<br /> <br /> To everyone else, I just watched Counterpart and very much enjoyed it. It is a "thinker fiction" series, in the spirit of The Twilight Zone from the 60's and to my tastes feels a bit like taking single episode of TTZ and expanding into a full modern series. Human drama unfolds through an interesting "what if" story concept. I find it fun and fascinating, and will definitely be watching each week.<br /> <br /> :: Bottom line ::<br /> If you want flashy action Sci-Fi, you will be disappointed. Worry not, there's an endless supply of that kind of fiction elsewhere.<br /> If you enjoyed "11.22.63" or "The Man in High Castle", you will probably like this show quite a lot.<br />

@bardolph77 just the J.K. Simmons work is worth the time spent, but I believe this might not be interesting to a younger less mature audience, hell, 15 years ago I would find this boring. I just watched Altered Carbon, and while it had some interesting parts the main characters could have been played by door knobs that the dramactic reach would probably be the same.

@paulojcduarte Hey now, I'm part of a younger audience, but am LOVING this show so far. Also a big sci-fi head, so I think the original poster may have been looking for something more superficial, regardless of age.

@bardolph77 every epsiode gets more boring to the point i don´t even care about the season finale... it´s the only reason i put up so far..

@bardolph77 <br /> This isn't a sci-fi show. It's a spy show with a multidimensional twist or sci-fi aspect. It's a slow burn with great storylines, real acting, and excellent music. As others have said, your watchlist is terrible and your writing is immature. Do YOURSELF a favor and leave the commenting to the adults.
