It was quite an interesting show. I was afraid it was going to be just pointing fingers at "weird stuff" and mocking but the guy kept open minded or at least honest about how he felt without judging the others. Most interesting part of the show are the people he meets who are deeply involved in whatever topic he reviews. You can see they are really implicated and educated and not just "weirdoes". It definitely makes me want to see more of it !

I perservered for longer than I normally would, and was hoping it would live up the the premise...but it was just dull. The narrator spoke in a monotone for the whole episode, I think trying for the deadpan in front of adversity, with a touch of absurdity. But it didn't work for me...

This show kept my attention and the locations were notably interesting. Having traveled the world, I've seen many of these locations and similar lifestyles but this series took me to places I hadn't been. The only thing that annoyed me at all was how clueless David was to the real world. Many time More
