This show is especially interesting if you have some prior knowledge of the Northern Ireland conflict. It's a funny show regardless, but it carries with it a fascinating historical background

Pretty dull show that has its occasional moments but nothing too memorable. Go watch The Inbetweeners again instead.

An absolutely fantastic show. It's charming, witty, and laugh-out-loud hilarious. I haven't laughed so much at a comedy show in a long time. The first two seasons are especially amazing, and the third, though not quite as good as the first two, is still excellent. I think there was only one episode across the entirety of the show that I didn't think was really good, but it was still decent. A few points I have to note: 1. Erin's facial expressions are iconic. 2. Orla both terrifies and captivates me. 3. I'm convinced that Uncle Colm is actually an energy vampire.

My wife and I really enjoyed watching this show so far, and look forward to the third season. Who’d a thunk it? A comedy series, almost slapstick at times, taking place during the Troubles in Northern Ireland? Okay, no shootings or explosions on camera, but the anxiety of the undeclared war touche More

Unlike my fiance, I've spent enough time there to easily understand the accent. She struggled a little, and unfortunately that meant that I had to translate a lot...

the thick accent, the inbred faces, the catholic canon, things were mildly amusing with the first series. the story went quite smooth for the first series.

the second series was bad. more of the same, only i started to skip big parts.
