Uncle Dudley is setting up his projector and screen as his nieces make popcorn to see his new home movie. Dinky, causing trouble as usual, destroys the house again before the movie is over. So he girls start driving around town to find a job to pay for the damages. They see a help wanted sign at the art studio of Tooloose Van Stop. He gives them a job to help him create his latest masterpiece to impress his benefactor, Melvin McBuck.

Uncle Dudley and his nieces have taken a drive to the shore to enjoy a day at the beach. Uncle Dudley keeps Dinky busy by throwing a Frisbee for him to catch, as Sandy plays a harmonica and Monica plays a guitar. They all plan to see Buck Ferris and "The Bong Show" on the pier later that day.

Everyone is at the supermarket so naturally Uncle Dudley starts complaining about how much it costs to feed Dinky. On the drive home, Sandy comes up with a great idea for her and Monica's next new job. She suggests getting a job on a farm so they can earn money and learn how to grow their own food.

Sandy has the clever idea to clean out the attic so that they can hide Dinky up there during Hortense's visit.
