To clarify about the pace, it's not slow. Unless you're not paying attention to what's happening in an episode or care so little about science any explanation for something doesn't register in your brain. Things tend to be happening a hundred times faster than they should be for what the protagonist is actually doing. If science isn't your thing this show may leave you confused.

[spoiler]I think we all agree this started quite slow, I'm not gonna lie I've almost drop this, after episode 6 it gets good for me, is not like this has a perfect development of the main story but if you're attracted to science then is very enjoyable! The animation so far so good, the balance between comedy and drama is the higlight and all the characters are very likeables![/spoiler]

Oh man, the last episode broke me down,.. really deep and meaningful. The best anime I've ever watched.

Unique universe about t run

Definitely didn't feel like my cup of tea at the start, maybe because it felt like it was moving slow, but after a few episodes it actually becomes quite enjoyable. The sciencey stuff are nice and something different from any other anime I have watched. Things are sometimes moving slow and others quick, so it not paced in a great way but is enjoyable. Character development for at least some of the main characters is great, but there are a lot that kind-a feel left behind.
Overall, if you give it a chance, it is a pretty great anime.

I could read the manga, but for the moment I won't....
Tsukasa and Ryuusu, they make me horny....
There are good waifu's and husband's....
Well getting close to the end is fucked up, but well....
I'll be here waiting for the next season...

It's slow paced but I liked it.

Slow, boring and I don't get with the drawn yet... it's horrible. Hope it get better or will finish on my trash list.

Damn this show is so disappointing, the characters are shallow and can be described in one word. The general idea of this show pretty cool but everything else sucks.

Edit: I don’t know if the show got better after they split off or if I accepted the mediocrity of this show.

Extremely unique, enjoyable, and inspiring anime. Ever wondered if all of society and technology disappeared, would we be able to rebuild it all using our current knowledge? And if so, how long would it take? That's the overarching concept behind this anime.

Mysteriously, every person in the world is petrified in stone. Thousands of years pass. Nature retakes the Earth and nearly all signs of man's existence disappears, besides for the petrified human shaped rocks scattered around. While everyone else is still petrified, the protagonist, a genius with an encyclopedia level of scientific knowledge, wakes up. Starting naked with just sticks and rocks, he attempts to discover what caused the petrification and - even more ambitious - to rebuild society and modern technology all the way to smartphones and spaceships.

I was hooked after the first episode!
