The show's high-energy delivery, colorful language, and memorable characters make it a hilarious experience. Murphy's spot-on impressions and observations about the world around him are both relatable and entertaining. Even decades after its original release, _Delirious_ remains a classic of stand-up performances.

A pinnacle stand-up performance from 1983. The intervening years have not been kind to some of the material though. Thank goodness for the universality of ... "ICE CREAM!"
