I would really give this one a 7.5 if I could; it's better than "Good" but falls a touch short of "Great". I love the premise of the show, I love the backstories, but in all honesty, this is not an accurate measure of _The Fastest Car_ more than it is of being _Fast Car Being Driven By An Experienced Driver_ . If you look at the episodes, almost all of them had "sleeper cars" being driven by people who were seasoned drag-racing drivers, drivers that knew how to jump at the green light and push their cars to the best performance level they could get. The vast majority of the "supercar" drivers were the people that everyone imagines to be a supercar owner: extremely wealthy with more money than sense, and they can buy anything they want, so they buy a "supercar" and feel like that immediately makes them a threat on the racetrack. Justin, the owner of the McLaren, was the ONLY supercar owner/driver who was experienced at racing, who knew not only what his McLaren could do but knew _how_ to get that performance out of it. He's really the only supercar owner/driver who came close to holding his own with the street-car drivers. The rest (of the supercar owner/drivers) were a joke; as much as I love a Lamborghini, when someone doesn't know how to drive it at peak performance, they don't need to be entitled to a shot at _Fastest Car_ …and when they lose, they should gracefully bow out and acknowledge, _"I may have bought a fast car but I'm still way out of my league here."_ That probably makes me sound like a typical street racer but I'm not. I just like the concept behind this show but wonder what it would actually portray if you raced "apples against apples"... i.e. seasoned drivers against seasoned drivers. This isn't that but it's still fun to watch, and the stories really are amazing.
