Generally interesting to get information this detailed. The series was a bit long winded in my opinion however. I could have done without so much about the history of this non-profit (there is no word describing how laughable this is) organisation and with more focus on the corruption and crime.
I am also a bit turned off that this stayed true to documentary neutrality. I don't think there should be a neutral stand when something so influential and powerful is so obviously rotten to the core.
This series could have been an opportunity to dissuade people from watching the World Cup in Qatar. Instead, if you want you can still close your eyes and ears before all because firstly all the bad guys are seemingly gone and so FIFA must be magically good without any restructuring necessary and because secondly there is no judgement or anything towards the obvious lies of people like the Qatari Prince or Blatter (yeah right he definitely must have a white west because that is definitively fitting for someone so powerhungry and unscrupulous ...)

@lenodos I just finished this series. I didn't watch any matches, or otherwise participate in the audience of this world cup, even though my beloved Netherlands were playing and doing pretty well as people told me.

If I had seen a documentary that was not neutral beforehand, I would be more inclined to watch the world cup, and many people I know would do the same. Moral messages are better received when they are neutral and balanced, and you don't feel that the showrunners are trying to signal their own superiority with an easy message.

@reficulgr that might be. However I think it does not necessarily count for the majority if you think about the documentary "Making a murderer" which is already highly suggestive in its title and still evoked a massive response.
Also I find it not very mature, reflected and even dangerous to merely support something out of protest but that was not your point.
