My First Jdrama and despite understanding the language before 2020 if dive into KDramas since they have better production values and actors but this JDrama is on part with many KDramas and best its less melancholic and doesn't revolve too much around fate and predictable cliches .

The Hatsukoi of the 3 + 2 characters in the show were unwrapped beautifully ; at first i was confused between the timelines ; they could have used better subs . Also each character is given enough time on screen to justify and empathize with their actions :
1. The father who needed to choose between 2 daughters
2. A mother who wanted to choose a life without hardships for her daughter
3. A boy who [spoiler]couldn't forget his first love ;[/spoiler] know only to take-off at V1
4. A girl who [spoiler]ost her memories , her love and her dreams[/spoiler] live for the moment
5. A boy who is burned with expectations tries to defy them .

Not just the leads but the supporting cast has done well ; may be the younger cast had a touch low acting skills.

[spoiler]At one point i rooted for both Fiance and the First love[/spoiler]; if the story had gone either way i would have loved but it also teaches us to never give-up on dreams for someone else and never regret by hiding the feelings.

If i could experience a first love ; I would want it to be any of the above.
