Season 3
The third season of the Flowering Heart series was planned since the series was originally a trilogy, according to an interview with a fan in September of 2016.[1] On November 29, 2017, the executive producer, Woo-Jin Lee, commented on Twitter that production on Season 3 didn't start due to the decrease of funds from Season 2. Initially, production on Season 3 was scheduled to begin in 2019 and release in 2020.[2] However, Woo-Jin Lee resigned in the first half of 2019, which resulted in disruption for future development. In 2021, Iconix themselves said that the production was eventually canceled.Season 2
The second season of the Flowering Heart series which first premiered on May 24th, 2017 and ran for 26 episodes. Continuing from where the previous season concluded, Shuel is now collecting Hopeful Energy alongside Ari, Suha, and Min and joins the Problem Solving Club. However, Trump, in order to help his mother, is actively collecting Hopeless Energy by using a pendulum that forcibly controls people with dark magic. Now, Ari and her friends must use light magic to reverse this recurring curse.26
