An enjoyable addition to the Godzilla franchise but it's held back in my opinion by overcomplicated aspects of the show as it tries and weaves in concepts like the Archetype, Orthogonal Diagonalizer, Super-Time Computer, Ashihara Effect etc.

Despite overcomplicating itself I really liked how it felt similar to the Shin Godzilla film where we witness the evolution of Godzilla but instead this time it's the entire kaiju species as we build up to the big guy himself Godzilla (I do wish Godzilla had got more screen time though).

Also the events of the last episode to do with Jet Jaguar felt rather idiotic and hardly explained (also that end credit on the last episode).

Not Your Typical Godzilla Movie But I Really Liked It Especially - More Into The Anime Type Of Story Then A Movie Revolving Around Godzilla & I Wish They Had More Time For Godzilla Himself - I Like How It Had Some Similarity To The Shin Godzilla Movies But It Was A Fun Ride - And They Really Did A Good Job With This Jet Jaguar Crew Who Were Very Entertaining And Trying To Look Into The Scientific Aspect Of The Kaiju - Its Has Tons Of Great References And Throwbacks - And Plenty Of Kaiju Combat Towards The End

A Highly Recommended The Show For Anime, Deep Sci-Fi & Kaiju Fans

I don’t understand what they’re saying most of the time. I just want kaijus.

As a long time Godzilla fan, what a surprising breath of fresh air. It's very different than everything you've seen before, and yet still also builds off of the rich and recent Godzilla history. It unfortunately is a little light on the Godzilla action, but in its place is enthralling technical explorations of extremely advanced scientific topics about spacial dimensions and time.

That may be a turn off for many, but I found the detailed dialog to be fascinating. The writer is an actual physicist, and it may be some of my favorite high concept dialog since Primer. There's a lot of fun here beyond that. Tons of great references and throwbacks, and plenty of combat in the end.

Highly recommended for deep sci-fi and kaiju fans.

This was a surprise, I ended up watching it all in one go. In a way, it is similar to Shin Godzilla, where it focuses more on the people than Godzilla itself. And here it's even more focused on the science behind the whole situation. And it mostly felt like somebody really thought about it. I completely did not mind all the exposition, as I found it really interesting. But this is not for ones that just want mindless action. This is something you have to think about.

The characters were quite good, maybe just too many of them. But there are quite different so you don't get lost. The soundtrack is also great and the song (you know which one) will haunt you in your dreams.

Actually, there were only two things I did not like. Some of the animation, especially the 3d looked just horrible and was a real low point of the series. Secondly, a lot of the characters here are these genius scientists, and they can't help themselves and do stupid things. At least it does not happen that often here.

Needs much more Godzilla in this Godzilla series. Only chance of fatalities are from the viewers of this being talked to death

Good series for anime and Godzilla fans alike. Godzilla looks inbred, his mouth opens too wide, and there is no dramatic build-up to Godzilla or really anything that sets Godzilla apart from the other monsters. It's lore-heavy and a thinker (you pretty much need a mathematics degree to fully understand the minutiae in the show).

Great animation nothing else, if you really wanna watch a good Godzilla show, watch Godzilla: The Series It's a much better Show, And It Continue From where The 1998 Nico Tatopoulos Godzilla movie left, but be wary that it's unfortunately never got to get a proper finale.
