I feel like this could have been really good with more context. Some of the episodes, like Dimension or Birth, had a really neat, fully explained premise that would have been really interesting if they had been able to dedicate more time to it. Other episodes like Crack or Curiosity were interesting but lacked all context as to why things were happening, which left me more confused than scared. I think the series relies too heavily on outside knowledge of the urban legends, as well as focusing too much on freaking out the audience without actually being able to do so (apart from maybe Crack, which was the only unsettling episode in the series) over actually telling a story. If you have outside knowledge of Korean urban legends, this might be a better experience.

I give it a "meh." There just wasn't enough to go on to make any of the stories interesting enough.

The format is a little short to manage to make every story interesting? Taking the time to give a bit more context would have helped. Also to let the tension grow a little. It's still ok as they don't have time to get annoying either, but the longer ones definitively work better, and not because of their content.

Goedam is a series of episodes loosely / not really connected about spirits living in the same world as us. The best episodes IMO were Crack, Special Guest, Threshold and Birth. Unfortunately the episodes are so short and there is no continuity (except for when they are in the school) that the show doesn't really feel scary or interesting. All of these episodes are very graphic. The theme of urban legends doesn't really come through except in Dimension and Birth. I wonder if these would be more familiar for Koreans.
