@callmetrimtab Oh the poor earth (Most of which that is being mined was once pounded by glaciers and even underwater)... Look up Socially Responsible Mining and educate yourself. These miners have to abide by very strict environmental regulations to protect the environment. This isn't the 1800's anymore... If you are worried about grass and trees... Vegetation grows back... Good grief. If you don't like the "greed" for Gold then you better quit your job and get rid of any money you have. Money has to be backed by Gold therefore by having the need for money YOU yourself are hypocritically contributing to the need of gold. You better get rid of any Gold jewelry that you own because if not YOU yourself are hypocritically contributing to the need of gold. If you own any electronics like a Cell Phone, Computer, Tablets, Calculators even down to the connectors on your TV, then you better get rid of them too because Gold is used in them as conductors as Gold is non corrosive. If you have any of these electronics (The one you are using to complain about Gold) YOU yourself are hypocritically contributing to the need of gold. Gold is a very big part of your life.
